Ears

Ears are one of the important organs of our body. We hear the world through our ears. They are not only used to hear sound but also to identify directions of sound. If we had no ears, the world would be silent to us and therefore it would be difficult for us to communicate with each other.
Do you know that we are losing our hearing all the time? When we were baby, we had the most perfect hearing in our life. I have to say it sounds very frustrating that we are losing our hearing all the time but it is the truth. Researchers have study this area for a long time but there are still some mysterious problems which can’t be explained reasonably. Generally speaking, it is believed by most researchers that a certain kind of cells which has the function to change sound into information that our brain need is dying all the time because of loud noise and other reasons.
With the development of society, it is not only loud noise but also some technology that does harm to our ears, such as the walkman and mp3 players. It is really convenient to listen to music by headphone but it is harmful to our ears to some extent. Usually we use these digital players at bus station or in a bus or train. But there place are too noise and we can’t help turn up the volume. Although we can’t feel painful or uncomfortable in our ears, our ears are bearing high level volume. So the tip is to listen to music at a quiet place. On the other hand, hearing music for a long time is also bad for our ears. We should avoid listening to music via portable digital players with headphones for more than one hour every time.
What I tell you above is a brief introduction about protecting our ears. It depends on yourselves to protect your ears. Anyway, if you want a good hearing, avoid loud sound. Ears are not so strong as you think.
