Today I watch a movie called “the holiday.” I think it is a very interesting movie. It tells two women’s love stories. One of them called Amanda who is a successful career woman lives in LA, she has everything, beauty, money ,a beautiful house ,a handsome boyfriend. But she does not feel happy and pressure from her work always makes her very fidgety. One day she finds her boyfriend falling in love with his assistant, she feels very angry and breaks up with him , after that she feel very sad and lonely, it happens during Christmas holidays so she wants to go somewhere faraway for a Christmas holiday. Then she finds Arase’s house on the house change web site. Arase lives in a small country not far away from London, she just finds the man she loves for 3 years will marry another girl, she feels so terrible and cries for a whole night then she saw Amanda’s replies on msn. They decide to change their house for holidays for two weeks. Then Amanda meets Arase’s brother a handsome single father who has 2 little girls and falls in love with him, they spend all Amanda’s holidays together but when the time that Amanda has to go back to LA comes, they do not know how to keep their relationship, they are both very confused. Arase meets a man who is a friend of Amanda’s ex-boyfriend who is a composer, he feels very upset about his beautiful girlfriend, an actor, because the girl is very flighty and always cheat him. Then after they talked about their problems in their life they become good friends. Arase also meets an old man who is almost 90, he used to be a very famous writer, and he writes script for Hollywood, he even wins the Academy Award (oscar award)when he was very young .One day Arase helps him in to find his way back home, and they become good friends. This great writer introduces Arase many excellent films during her holidays.
