It’s the Saturday of Week 8, we didn’t expect special things happen on this common day before, but when we were informed to have a visit to NTU, we felt that it must be an exciting day.
The bus ran a long time until we reached NTU finally. Although NTU means Nanyang Technology University, the environment of the campus makes it more like an art school. The art library which came into our sight really appealed to us much. It is in the shape of heart and covered with blue glasses. It’s said that couples come here to look at the sky at night, so romantic!
Then we arrived at LT1 to have a psychological test on classifying what style we are. I am the style of I and S, of which I stands for I’m inspiring and interested to deal with relationship with others, S stands for I’m reliable and stable. Mostly it is a true me, isn’t it? Haha that is not the point, the point is that we enjoyed the role play show presented by some genius actor students. They showed us different actions of different styles of people when they were proposing. Some couples’ show really frustrated us much.
After that we gathered together with our former schoolmates in Harbin institute of technology. Really long time no gather! We occupied a bus to send us to Eton Hall. At 4, we went to a snack counter but on the way it suddenly rained heavily and we had to share our umbrellas with NTU friends, just at that moment, we were like an union to work together to overcome difficulties. And during the super we enjoyed not only the food but also the atmosphere in which we talked about future, played jokes and gossiped a lot. Time to separate, we were a little unwilling, for it is too hard to gather so many people together, but it is said that separation is for next gathering.
It remained raining heavily, and it absolutely ruined our weekend night that no sports outside, no outgoing but only staying in the dormitory, but it is really a various and colorful day, isn’t it?

ReplyDeleteFriends means a lot for us especially when we are far away from our hometown our relatives our former best friends.So we should treasure our friends here .We will spend about 4 years and a half together,so i think students from the same university and our classmates will be our best friends in the feature.
ReplyDeleteLast Saturday we met our NTU friends,too.We celebrated one my friend's birthday and spent a happy afternoon together. What a happy day it was.
That's quite a profound thought, Zhang Jiao, that "separation is for the next gathering". And it's true, too. It gives us something to look forward to. It must have been really good to meet up with old friends.

ReplyDeleteI remember that the rain on that day was really heavy. When the rain suddenly came, I was at Chinatown whit my roommate. The rain was too heavy at that time. The umbrella seemed useless, so we had to stay in the shopping center until the rain became a little bit small. If I am not wrong, the Merlion was shocked on that day as well. About the result of the DISC workshop, I am the style of SCI. Although some of my friends think it is strange, for me, myself, I think it is indeed the really me.
