telling a lie

Sometimes people tell a lie, even to the person they love. Why does this happen? For complicated reasons, I think.
When a person decides to tell a lie, in most cases, he or she may have the confidence that the lie will never be noticed by the poor guy who is told to. In China, there is such a saying that when a person tells a lie, he will have to tell ten more lies in order not to be exposed. I think this is really a truth. It is a kind like butterfly effect. Every different choice will lead to different result, sometimes even quite bad result.
I do not want to deny that sometimes people have to tell a lie. Maybe he doesn’t want to hurt his beloved one. Maybe he has troubles that he is reluctant to discuss or mention. Under this situation, the person should be forgiven, I think.
Of course, there are still many lies that can’t be forgiven. For example, a guy falls in love with two girls at the same time, but sooner or later the fact will be found by the girls. What will the boy do, to tell the truth or continue telling the lie? Neither of them will be useful, because it is a false from the beginning. The first choice made by the boy that keeps relationship with two girls at the same time is such a mistake, so whatever the boy does to retrieve will be useless.
Anyway, it is better that you never tell a lie. It will make you feel relaxed and it is better for our health. Do good and be honest!
