Despite I can not say happy birthday to you face to face, I have asked aunty to help me buy a chocolate cake for you. Today, I think of many things that happened between us all these years, a complicated feeling surges in my heart. Suddenly, I realize that you really contribute all you have to me, though I quarrel with you constantly. Before I entered into the senior high school, I was always objective to you, and vent my anger on you even if the issue had nothing to do with you. Not only did I never try to understand you when we had different opinions, but also I always misunderstood you. However, you never gave up educating me to become better, and you always tried your best to provide me with the best life. I never appreciated your effort, even never said“ thank you”, instead I just enjoyed the comfortable life you provided to me. After I entered the senior high school, I began to realize that you are the person who loved me most in my life. Everyday you would get up early to prepare nutritional breakfast for me, and also prepare the delicious dinner for me no matter how tired you are after a whole day’s work and wait me to have dinner until 9:00pm. The study life in senior high school sometimes seemed really stressful and monotonous especially in grade three. You always thought of different ways to encourage me, and never put too much stress on me. When I failed in the exam, you will analyze the papers together with me searching the ways to improve instead of scolding. When I felt tired of study life, you would cheer me up and teach me how to relax myself. Even when you know I failed in the college entrance examination, you did not show any disappoint, instead you took me to travel around to relieve my stress and encouraged me to face the setback. In fact, I understood how disappointed all the family members were at that time. So I was really grateful to you to support me at such difficult time. Now I have come to Singapore for my future study. It is the first time I have left home, so I think father, you and I all need a period to accustom the new life. However, I will face the challenge bravely, because I know you and father will always support me.
It is you who try to do whatever you can to support me; it is you who are willing to tolerate all my weakness; it is you who teach me how to deal with life; it is you who make me understand what love is. I love you, my mum.

ReplyDeleteI think mothers in the world are alike.I have a similar experience.In high school,I aslo argue with my mother quite often.But when I grow up, I gradually understand my mum's love.

Now we are in a different country far away from mum,so I think every one misses mum very much, and I am sure mum also miss us ,too.But we come here to study and we can not go back now ,so what we can do is not to complain too much,we should study hard and achieve a good mark and when we are in holiday time, go back China and go and see mum!

As your friends have said, the best thing that all of you can do is to have a happy balanced life here and communicate regularly with your parents back home, which I'm sure you're all doing, right?
