Ugly Chinese

When I was in senior high school, my sister introduced me a book named <>, written by BoYang .
At first, I can’t really understand why there is such a person who wrote such an unbelievable book that goes against my normal knowledge of our Chinese culture and Chinese people. But after I read the book carefully, I was getting to know it and had a deeply thought of our ugly chronics we are faced with.
There is an obvious contrast between western culture and eastern culture. An American who wrote the book <> was highly prized and his book was taken to be analyzed carefully by the ministers .but a Japanese in high position wrote the book<>was deposed. And the Chinese writer BoYang who wrote the book <>was sentenced to death, later the law changed and allowed him to be in prison for the rest of his life, at last he was set free after ten years in prison thanks to the help of his friends but on condition that he will never publish any critical works.
He went to many famous universities in the world to give lectures with the accompany of his wife, which also a famous writer.
In the book, he compared our Chinese culture as a big soy sauce jar, full of snobbism, full of relationship .full of ugly bureaucratic, full of fake mask...by using a humorous and ironic tone to criticize the ugly phenomena .It is worthy to be read.
You can be shocked by what you have read, at the same time you can have a clear acquaintance and understanding of the real world!
What I what to advise you is reading the book with a neutral view and having your own understanding!
