Just Do As You Like

Recently, I picked up a meaningful short story when I searched the Internet. It says once there is a pretty girl who wants to convert her hairstyle, but she has been tentative for a long time without any action. Because she is worried about what the colleagues will think of her after she changes hairstyle, how they will commend her. Finally she determines to change to wavy hair. The next day, she goes to the office uncomfortably wondering the reaction of her colleagues all the time. To her surprise, there is no one having noticed her change, everyone concentrate on their own business as usual. Until the time to go from work, she can not help asking one of her colleagues:“Do not you find something different on me today?”The colleague looks at her carefully, suddenly he speaks out: “You have change your hairstyle, do not you?”
Have you ever got the similar thoughts as the girl? Afraid of being regarded as the kind of person who like showing off, you suppress your talent; afraid of the gossip of colleagues, you intend to keep away from your superior; afraid of being thought of fat, you give up the dream of beautiful dresses…… Too many facts suggest that we have lost much just because of such commence of others, we lose the courage to pursuit the dream, we lose the object self-recognition, we lose the opportunity to manifest our talent, and we even lose the prospects that should have belonged to us. We can see clearly from the facts, it is the excessive consideration on commence of others that interferes with our action.
Do not always consider what commence people give you. Anyone will not be the center of the world, so nobody will take notice of you all the time. What we should do is just concentrate on our own business, never care about the reviews of others excessively, or stopping striving for your dream. If you would like to change to wavy hair, go ahead, just do as you like, even a little change will give new energy to your monotonous life ; if you would like to try on a new skirt however you are not slim enough, go ahead, just do as you like, people will not be confident because of beauty, on the contrary people will be beautiful because of confidence; if you would like to convert to another company which is the formidable opponent of your previous company, go ahead just do as you like, you have the right to pursuit the better future. What counts most is not the commence of others. It is whether you can benefit from what you intend to do, whether you will be happier if you do this, whether you will lead a better life if you do this that count. Always remember we are the master of ourselves, try to be decisive and confident. We live for ourselves not for others, so we need not do everything as others like. It is we who decide our life, our future. So just go ahead, do not pay excessive attention to the commence of surroundings, you will find the life becomes relaxing at once.
