Views on NBA all star Part B

In fact, we not only focus on the starting lineup, but also on the bench players. Perhaps we all know Kobe, James, Yao(…) will be seen on the sheet whatever happens. Starting players are selected by fans, but the relief ones are selected by the assistant coaches of 30 teams, so the vote of bench players is fairer, if you perform well this season, you’re in. Someone hold that bench players maybe play as an artist and have so many fans, but they actually have strength and hold power. So do I.

  Let me start with the west. No new faces this year. It has three bench guards. First, C.Billups, we all accept that Nuggets benefit a lot through the trade, the coming Chauncey change the whole team , Denver become a more reasonable team, which maybe G.Karl most like to see. One is Parker, I can’t forget at the beginning of this season, Spurs suffered. But they have Tim and Tony, now half of season has passed, they rank 2^nd in the west, only after LAL, that’s we expect so Tony deserve. Last is Roy, as core player in Portland, he helped team gain a nice achievement, I like this young guy who has a steady style which doesn’t his age. I think his teammate, Aldridge should be in these years, maybe next year. These 06’s draft representative players are the future of Portland. And three forwards in, David West, Paul Gasol and Nowitzki. Dirk is always a bench all star player as we all know. Attention! We should find there is no small forward in the west, so who can take care of Lebron. Though David and Paul played well, I think they enter more because the achievements of their teams. I can hardly understand Melo is out, someone said that Anthony should be in but he had been injured, so if he quits the match, it’s meaningless. Maybe that’s one. Now Paul injures, Melo still has opportunity. Also as the all star game host, unlike his two teammates, Nash was neglected. It’s controversial, but I have no words here. Then it comes to the centre. I think the most highlight of this weekend is that Kobe and Shaq will fight together again, that’s also what I expect for a long time. There so many stories between these two stars. Since Shark swam back to the east coast, conflicts are there. And then so many things happened as we all know. Nowadays Shaq appreciates Kobe more frequently, he almost wanna come back to LA… Since they are both gentler now, when Kobe, Shaq and Phil Jackson come together, oh, I expect so much!

  There are three new faces in the east. Jameer Nelson, Devin Harris and Danny Granger. I guess Devin and Danny will be in because they gave us such surprise so the coaches are fair. 3 guars, Joe Johnson, as the hawk king, he contribute so much to the team. When he was in Phoenix, I’ve believed that he wasn’t only a shooter, he will be a versatile all star player. Other two guards are both 04’s draft players with D.Howard, Devin and Jameer. After leaving Dallas, Devin has more chances to perform and he didn’t leave us disappointed either. This speed boy made such progress and gave us most surprise this season, I support he be the MOP this year, he deserves it. No doubt Jameer Nelson also approved himself, he is enjoy the best career time ever since. I’m so sorry he injured badly last week, he will be absent this remained season, so is the all star weekend… David himself nominated Allen to replace Nelson. It’s Ray who dragged Celtics out of the suffering at the beginning of 2009. There are 3 forwards in the east. Paul Pierce deserves. I appreciate that Danny Granger is in. This genius small forward made a difference, not only the shooter, he can control the match in many aspects. Larry Bird think Danny will be a important part of team USA. So do I. Congratulations, Danny, hope you will enjoy all star game and 3-point competition. Last one is Lewis, definitely, Magic has a great achievement, but if Lewis and Nelson are in, I can hardly explain why Turkoglu was neglected this year and last year. The centre is Bosh? Isn’t him a typical power forward? Maybe the east won’t pick a common all star centre to be beaten by Yao and Sharq.

  So that’s the lineup of NBA all star match this year, we have questions, we have surprises, we expect it.
