NO THIEVES IN THE WORLD

All of us dream that one day the world can be full of love and peace, with everyone living in brotherhood and sisterhood. Director Feng Xiaogang put the dream in his film NO THIEVES IN THE WORLD.Through the film,we not only see the running train,the thieves,the police and the labourer named Shagen but also hope.
The background is set in a carriage,where all kinds of people sittting or sleeping in it, heading for a common destination.It is more like an epitome of the society we live.We have our goals and try to achieve them by different methods.Throughout the movie the light in the carriage is always dim ,indicating something may happen.
When watching the movie,we won't be at ease.Our hearts are attached to the pure and honest labourer, who never takes precaution against any people,most of whom are strangers.Are you always on guard against them? Or you trust everyone you meet?We dream to live in a Utopia but how far it is from us?No one has an answer.
The train's still galloping. Shagen, whose property is at the mercy of many thieves fall asleep and steeps into his fond dream. To our surprise, one thief,whose conscience has been aroused,manage to protect Shagen.He makes it at the expense of his life.
At the end of the film,sunlight shines in through the window.Shagen,who is still in his dream where there is no evil,will never know what has happened.How I wish the world in his eye is not a dream!
Maybe someday our world will really be a Garden of Eden with no evil ,no cheat,no voilence......Who knows!
